There is no disk\\device\\hardisk\\dr5

I am using Vista with a Microsoft Laser Mouse and keyboard 5000.
Each time I use the keyboard I get the message 'itype.exe' There is no disk in the drive\device\harddisk\dr5. If I cancel the message twice the keyboard works fine. This is so annoying. Is there an easy fix??
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you install software for the keyboard? If so uninstall it, and download the latest version from the web site.
