[SOLVED] There's an array of flip switches in this Motherboard? What?

I'm was working in this old Viao Mobo and came across this bizarre -what seems to be a switch- and was wondering what in the heck is it? Anyone that knows what it is is more than welcome to let me know about it and it's function as it might help me greatly in trying to fix this dinosaur.

That is a DIP switch.

Different switch positions enable/disable certain functions or operating modes.
You'll need to find the actual service manual to discover exactly what it does.
