Hi,

I started to replace the cooler of the GTX 650Ti Boost (EVGA) with the Accelero Mono Plus. The thermal compound that came with it dried out and is no longer of good use, so I used the Arctic Cooling MX-2 to install the thermal cooling pieces on the RAM/Voltage spots, but after an hour they don't stick. Can I use some glue on the side, or something not damaging the card to keep the them fixed?

That's not "adhesive" is not meant to "stick" anything, it's meant to provide heat conduction from the surface of components to their heatsink, which is in turn fastened with mechanical fastners or real adhesive of some type.

On the Arctic product page for that cooler, the gallery photo with the package contents only shows one tube of adhesive of some sort, but nothing for thermal compound. If that tube was the MX-2 then it was mis-labeled on the site since it is not an adhesive.

The thermal adhesives that I have seen are more like a 2-part epoxy and, in your case, would permanently affix the supplied Arctic heat sinks to the VRAM and VR units.

I've been doing some digging in my room and have found these : Cooler Master Thermal Compound Kit (what you get with a cooler from the brand); STARS-612 Heatsink Compound; HY610 Thermal Grease; STARS-922 Heatsink Plaster.

Will any of these 4 be a good for the job?

No, they don't have any bonding qualities. ([edit] Except for the STARS-922)

OK, the STARS-922 should work fine. Clean everything off from your first attempt, then a small amount on the center of the IC and press the heat sink onto it. Wait for it to cure, then you should be OK.

Another Edit: Didn't see 2 STARS entries ... This is for the Heatsink Plaster

I've just applied that one and will now give some time to harden up
