Thermal Grease on GPU?

Can i use this thermal grease for a Gtx 465? http://www.quietpc.com/zm-stg2

Or is there any other ones especially made for Gpus? im just not sure.

I have the one that i put up a link that i use for my i7. But not sure if i can use that on my gtx 465 also.

you can use somthing like arctic silver 5 for the GPU die, if the heatsink touchs the memory chips aswel, usually they need an adheisive thermal pad. thermal compound and pads are cheap just so you know.

A CPU and GPU die are both pretty much the same thing, a paste that works on one will work on the other.

However, it is not recommended to use conductive thermal pastes like AS5 when it comes to GPU's. The GPU usually has transistors around it, and in the process of mounting the cooler the thermal paste will most likely get all over them.

So having a conductive paste could cause issues. I used Arctic Cooling MX-4 on my GPU and I havent had any issues so far.
