Thermal Margin >66c Normal?

So according to others (ex.) the thermal margin is the max temp minus the current temp. According to AMD OverDrive my thermal margin is 66c. Is this right? That seems like a lot of wiggle room. Most examples I've seen are a thermal margin of 7-10c so I was expecting a much lower number.

I took him to mean the maximum temperature that he had measured (ie under full load) and the current temp.
Whereas I think the thermal margin is the maximum permissable temperature of the cpu (approx 70 C) and the current temperature.
