Hello,

I have a Gigabyte Geforce Gtx 770 2GB OC WindForce for 3 years now and i was wondering if i should change the thermal pads and which one should i pick to replace them!!

I also dont know how many mm should the pads be 🙁 (0.5mm , 1mm , 5mm).

The Last 2 months the temp is rising while I play games(the setting are in low) and reaches up to 82 Celsius.
So I was going to replace the thermal paste and while I was looking for different ways to cool the gpu, I found the thermal pads.So I don't know if I should mess with them 😛

I have to point out That I haven't opened the gpu yet so I don't know if the pads are still good, I just try to solve a few questions here 😛

Nothing wrong with asking.

82 is starting to get into high temp territory. I have a 1060 that maxes out in the 70s under 100% usage and max clock.

I think being your temps seem to be rising, and as long as you are careful and know what you're doing, then I would change the pad/paste.

As far as which one...from what I've heard...paste cools better....but pads are less messy.
