Hello,

I want to change the thermal pads on my
GeForce GTX 1060 WINDFORCE OC 6G
GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD but I don't know the right sizes for the thermal pads ( thickness in "mm") .

Thanks.

Personally, I would just buy a variety pack of thermal pads and match up the thickness whenever you take it apart.
There are likely different sizes for different areas of the cooler.
I.E buy a pack that includes 1mm, 1.5mm, and 2mm sections then cut to size.

Hello everyone.

I know it's been a lot of time from my posting but back then I got good offer for a new Video Card and instead of just replacing the pads of the old video card I just buyed new one  , but now I want to gift my old card to one kiddo :innocent: and I need help. The question is: Do I need to cover does components (marked on the photo) like it were originally? Old pads are very soft and oily as you can see on the photos. I guess the pads originally must have been around 2.0 mm because not their size is: on the flat side between 1.5 mm and 1.8 mm and maybe 1.2-1.3 mm on the thin side.

I have Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 - 1.5 mm pads(on photos pink ones) and it seems they are denser and harder compared to the original ones. Can I use them or stack up to 2.0mm with 0.5mm or buy new 2.0 mm grizzly or other brand but softer ?

Edit: I hope someone will help because the kiddo BD is in 10 days.

Thanks.

Please delete this comment I am writing right now along with the comment I made on "Mar 29, 2025"(Last edited: Apr 1, 2025. And I hope you fix this in the future, because it is quite restrictive.
