Hello, I have a Asus k53SM laptop computer , Its 3 years old.

My computer has been heating crazy under heavy video game load from day 1 but at that time the system still ran very efficiently as the cooling system kept venting all the heat.

but now it still heats up way more even for small loads . I suspected poor cooling and cleaned the dust out of fan vent. Unfortunately the fan started making noises and there was not enough performance gain

because the fan is connected to both the cpu and gpu with some rod like thing (golden brownish) I cannot properly clean the fan without removing it from the motherboard, and removing it from the motherboard means removing the rod/tube from the cpu and gpu and subsequently removing the paste.

This video shows my mother board and fan

So after cleaning I would require to replace the thermal paste.

What is the best paste I should use? I live in India so there are limited options for me (lots of duplicate and chinese made products) I found these pastes available on amazon India . please recommend me the best of these (if there is any) or if there are still better options .

Solution
arctic silver no.5 is very good. for the money i would go with that.
the red brown tube is called a heatpipe and you need to be very careful when removing and replacing it.
