Question Thermal paste (mx-6)drying after weeks use

Hey so ive got a lenovo l340 15irh gaming laptop its about 4 years old. My mx-6 dries out after only a week... Im looking for a better paste if anyone could help it would be appreciated.

I'd pick the Noctua or Thermal Grizzly.

One other thing you might be able to do is undervolt the CPU's core, cache and iGPU, and if you have a discrete GPU, undervolt that as well.

Cool thanks specs are gtx 1650 and i5 9300h. I already did a slight undervolt and set the short power (pl2) down a bit which helped with my temps and random spikes in temperature. At this point I believe the paste is at fault because removing the heatsink the paste is dry.
