So... i just bought new cooler, and as you know it comes with pre-applied paste.

Do i still need to apply another paste on cpu? maybe just a little? or not at all?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Not every cooler comes with pre-applied paste, so please be aware of the generalization of 'as you know it comes pre-applied'....most times it actually doesn't.

Remove the old cooler.
Clean the old paste from the CPU.
Apply new paste if not already applied on the cooler.
Install the cooler on the CPU .

so there is really no need to apply another paste on cleaned cpu?

Right. IF the new cooler system really HAS thermal paste pre-applied, that is ALL you need. Do NOT add more on that cooler OR on the CPU lid. Check very carefully - many that have pre-applied paste also have a thin clear plastic film over that to protect it. That film MUST be removed before installing.
