Hey im gonna build new gaming pc and i have never built a pc before, but aside from that i am clueless when it comes to adding thermal paste is that the best option and if it is can anyone show a good guide how to apply it on a i9 10900k with a Corsair Hydro H150i Pro 360mm cooler and a ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E GAMING (WiFi) motherboard.

Thanks

You can spread the small dab or just leave it in the center and the heat sink will spread it for you. Either way, just don't use too much.

So you are dropping all this cash on a very high end system (saw your build post) and you've not built a pc before? Have a friend to help you?

Just put a literal rice grain sized bit of thermal paste, spread it with a very smal plastic spatula.
Ensure the top of the cpu gets fully covered by a paper thin layer.
Adjust your cooler after that and you should be fine.
Just watch a youtube video for any more information.

Click the trophy icon on the upper left of my answer if i helped you : )
