[SOLVED] thermal paste overflowed and spill a bit on mobo

Hi guys, a noob need a help here, I juz install a cpu today, I realized the thermal paste overflow then I rub a bit with dry q-tip.. then It become like in the picture..

do u all think it will harm my motherboard I need to clean it up and reapply new thermal paste again??.. or I juz can move on???..
btw i used standard thermal paste that came with be quiet air cooler

Not a bug deal but you obviously put too much.

yeahh..its my first time building a pc...😬
a bit of thermal paste hairline also fall on mobo too...is it will harm the motherboard??

It will not harm anything so go ahead and enjoy your new system worry free. And besides, trying to clean it up is the only way likely to cause harm.

It's not going to damage anything. Doesn't matter if you clean it up or not.
