Hi,

Tonight, I decided to build a new rig. All went well, except for two thing...I touched the thermal paste on the CPU fan. Wiped my hand on a cloth, but noticed that there was a bit more paste on my one finger still, after picking up the mother board. Now, there was finger marks on the bottom of the Mobo, but couldn't see any thermal paste on the Mobo. Should I be worried?

Also, when I put in the CPU, it made a bit of a squeak. Should I be worried?

Also, I installed the stock cooler of a i7-4770K on my i5-5670K, will this be an issue?

You should be fine as long as you didn't bend any pins. Coolers are dependent on the socket type and 115X should all work fine with each other. If you're concerned about the thermal paste you can take a paper towel with some rubbing alcohol to clean it. Although some people just use a dry towel and think that works well enough.

Sorry about the previous reply. I was just being paranoid, and worried, so I didn't bug to think. Anyway, here is some images of my socket, does everything look fine?
