Thermaltake 730W PSU

i have put in Thermaltake 730W PSU, when ever i plug in the pc power cable , the room lights start to flicker (even before i have push the power button on pc). this is the same socket where i was using my previous pc. than i switch it off quickly. after a few minutes i power it on and it runs oka without flickering the lights.... I am very confused about this issue.... without switching pc plug in everything is fine...

I would venture to say a problem lies in the electrical wiring of your house. You should probably test your sockets.
