Thermaltake cooler to Asus mobo

I just got my new cpu and planning to get a new cpu cooler since my stock fan with my Amd A10-5800k doesn't do well and I'm getting a lot of heat from it (I know it's the normal prob. with AMD chips) and I don't want to waste cash if ever I got a wrong cooler that will not fit my motherboard. My friend recommended me this cooler .. Thermaltake NIC C5 and got pleased with the reviews so I decided that it will be the one that I will get .. so my question is will it fit my mobo ? which is btw Asus a55bm-e or if ever it will not .. can you recommend me some air cooler with same performance Thanks in advance !

The cooler will compatible with AMD FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2 socket MB, so it will fit with Asus a55bm-e but you want to make sure the case will be compatible with the cooler, because the cooler is about 160mm high.

I have a CM Storm Enforcer as a casing so I don't think I have a problem in terms of space .. I also saw that my motherboard is a FM2+ socket (after searching what sockets means) and I didn't see it in your answer .. and the closest is FM2 .. so another question .. is FM2 and FM2+ much of a difference in terms of sockets ? or it just differs in the processor chip socket ?

My OLDER son has a Orange Phanteks PH-TC14PE in his Storm Enforcer , so the cooler should fit.

They are difference, because FM2 has 904 pins, FM2+ has 906 pins. But they have the same retention mounting bracket.
