Question Thermaltake core v1 itx build..monster gamer?

ryzen 5 3600
msi 450i mb.
gtx 1070 ti amp (it will fit)
32gb 3200mhz ddr4 ram
1tb ssd, 1tb hhd (already have both)
corsair 650 modular psu
this is my planned build after research.
it should ultra 1080p 144hz just about anything i would want to play..or am i missing something?

well my budget covers 16gb of corsair 3200 vengeance or 32gb of timetec 3200 ram for the same price. research says ram is ram, buy cheapest..so..

Ram isn't ram. If said ram has horrible timings, it's a bad idea, especially in a ram sensitive Ryzen system. While not as picky as it used to be, Ryzen can still have a bit of issue, with certain ram.

timetec has competitive timings and good reviews..i was going to go with the vengeance till I did the research. it future proofs the ram for a good while to come. on a side note, timetec guarantees its ram for life.

i do realize right now 16gb is great..will it be in 2 or 4 years? and honest question, will 32gb hurt?

I am 60 and disabled, this most likely will be my last build. I want it tiny, and I want it to rock my games for a few years. current passion is red dead 2 online. so thanks for advice, opinions and support. i already have the asus 1ms 1080p 144hz monitor. the rest will be bought 1 or 2 pieces a month. everything listed above I will be getting for around $750 give or take $20 depending on the deals when i buy them. it should be done by june. ✌🧡🖖

Strictly for gaming, you will be more then fine with 16gb, even in 2 or 4 years. If the price difference between 16gb and 32 is not big, go of course for 32gb. If the difference is noticeable go for 16gb and rather put the money into a better GPU.

well, it's the same price, the only difference seems to be the name, corsair vs timetec..timetec even responded to my query on amazon about whether or not their ram would work with the B450i motherboard they responded it will work great, so for $120 for 16gb corsair vs 32gb of timetec, I'm gonna take my chances I believe.

update: everything is bought. my pc build is completely accurate.

had issues to begin with, it would just freeze up unexpectedly..thought the ram might be causing the cpu to overheat, because of blocking some of the radiator for the cpu fan..but gpu and cpu software and apps pretty much ruled out it was overheating. not sure what the problem was exactly. but it seems to have worked itself out. hasn't froze up in days through some pretty graphically intense ultra setting gaming.
