This is a double part question.
My Core V71 case came with the 3 200mm blue LED fans pre-installed and already wired into the fan controller on the front of the case. There is a 4 pin molex connector wired into the fan controller, and I have plugged one of my PSU's cords into it. The fans work, but I'm not sure if they are hitting their advertised speeds or CFM, even with the case fan controller set to "high". Are they getting enough power from just the one 4 pin? How would I go about fixing this if not?
The other 140mm case fan (tt 1425) that the case came with is plugged into the sysfan_1 slot on my Z77 Extreme3 Mobo, right at the exhaust of my build. But my CPU temp is still hitting 73C on a light load such as Minecraft. I'm running a default CPU cooler with my i5-3570k (not overclocked). What gives? Any help is appreciated, and I will gladly post pictures upon request, if needed.
