this thing is LOUD!!!!!!
The turbo fan is rediculously loud. I mean it actually Screams. Had to hook up to my fan controller to hear myself think

The blower fan is loud... That's why you buy a 40mm sunon fan that's around 4000rpm, which only has about 25dB.

I have 2 80 mm fans on the side of the case blowing on the card as well. and have the cooler fans turned down low.
My point is that stock is just rediculously loud. Thing looks kool but thats about it.
Question though: What is too high of a temp for asus ati 9800 pro 256?

Are you sure you mean Celsius and not farenheit? Not doubting you, just Seems pretty high to me, anyhoo, i think mine was around 40-50 celsius but i cant tell anymore cause i installed the new Catalyst and the SmartDoctor for this card wont show the temps and voltages, only the clock speeds. Oh well, thanks for the input. Much appreciated

Celcius, ATI's under 90C, and NV under 110C. NV cards don't normally melt 'til they hit the 160C zone. ATI, melts at around 120C. When I say melt means instant death of GPU/VPU.
