I recently installed this liquid cooler (tt floe riing) on my CPU. The temps are fine and I can feel one tube is warm and the other is cooler. It's working but it makes a weird noise every 30-40 seconds. Like a whirring noise that lasts for a couple seconds and then goes away. Is this normal? I will try to upload a video to YouTube and link it here: https://youtu.be/N5BnM_KsE0w
The video shows how it behaves at startup and it makes that noise while running.

Thanks in advance.

Figured it out i think. I changed my CPU fan settings to run at 100% and now my CPU is running cooler and the pump no longer makes noises. I think it may just not be designed to run at variable speeds and the pump didn't run at 100% until I put load on the CPU
Hmm, I think I would describe that as a grinding noise. It could have debris inside, or it might not have enough fluid. It could also be an imbalance causing it to grind against the sides. Whatever it is, I would probably try to get it replaced using the warranty.

It also kind of sounds like a fan that has a loose bearing. Are you positive it is coming from the pump itself?

Yeah I checked all the fans. They're all good. It just makes that noise every 30-40 seconds. Definitely feels like the pump to me after troubleshooting for a while. I'll probably just get it replaced.
