600W Thermaltake PSU (Part number: SPD-0600P)
Can it safely run a 1080ti/7700k?
I have very little knowledge of PSU's and their respective shortcomings. I currently own the Thermaltake model listed above and am in the early stages of a pretty significant overall upgrade.
Should I wait until I can also acquire a higher quality PSU or would I be fine to run this set-up in the meantime?
I only ask because I've heard (vaguely) of PSU's shorting out, or something to that effect, and damaging components and I'd not be a happy camper were that to happen to me shortly after spending a grand on my system.
