[SOLVED] Thermaltake smart rgb 600w

Solution
Well that makes sense.

Anyways, I guess I'm getting one of those then.

I will say that if the TX-M is only 7 Euro more than the CX, totally get the TX-M.

That pricing seems out of whack because the TX-M has Gold efficiency and is semi-modular. The CX is Bronze and non-modualr.

I was planning on getting a thermaltake smart rgb 600W but after reading some reviews is it really that bad?

If its that bad can someone find me a solid one under $80 on this site - gigatron.rs/napajanja
$80 is about 9000RSD

Gigatron's selection sucks. That's the only place?

The HEXA 85+ is the only PSU I would ever consider if I had to buy from that place and only had a 9000RSD budget: https://www.gigatron.rs/napajanja/fsp_napajanje_650w_hexa_85_serija__ha650-139058

Yeah i dont trust thermaltake psu's corsairs has some great ones for good value tho

Well, Thermaltake does have some good PSUs.

Problem with the Smart RGB is you're paying extra for RGB, yet the PSU is the same price as better units. Do people really thing RGB is free? It's not. They make the PSU cheaper so they can slap an RGB fan in it and sell it at a premium price.

This place seems MUCH better...

Looks like they only have higher wattages, though. I guess Egyptian retailers equate high wattage with high quality and never order high quality low wattage PSUs?

I found these idk if they are strong enough for the build i have:

Ok getting the txm but isn't the cxm also semi-modular?

Oh.. You're right! That's a CX-M!

So then the TX-M is MUCH better.

The CX is better than the CX-M, but the TX-M is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than the CX-M.

That makes it a no brainer. No reason why the cost delta between CX-M and TX-M should be so small. Man.. Pricing is all over the place. It's like they have a bot doing it.
