Sorry for digging up, but please, tell me more. Why this PSU isn't recommended (for 270X or generally speaking?) and what are the issues? This is a very popular power supply in my country, people recommend it even for GTX 770.

1. Its recommended to use a 600W power supply for a gtx770

2. RealHardTech test power supplies. They recommend at l;east 500W for the R9 270x.

3. The Thjermaltake Smart SE power supplies are not on tiers 1,2a, 2b or even 3 or 4 of http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html#13224310. So thye are not a good quality power supplies.

4. You can find Thermaltake Smart power supplies in the Johnny Lucky Lemon list - http://www.johnnylucky.org/power-supplies/psu-lemon-list.html

5. ReadHardTech says the power supply has not yet been certified to 80plus and there are no reviews on them
