Am putting together a Thermaltake Suppressor F31 case, silent version, and while awaiting a mobo return I have a couple of questions that arise from mounting a fourth HDD and two SSDs. Specifically,
1) How does the Power Supply Unit cover (with the two SSD spots on top) mount to the case? I assume the short end attaches to the case, but it's not obvious where or how. No instructions were included, and there's nothing on Thermaltake's site. The PSU is a Seasonic X650. https://store.thermaltakeusa.com/inside03.php?s=44&k=204&a=2308
2) Another option is to attach extra drive trays to the underside of the motherboard platform. My question there is how do they fasten solidly to the case? The trays slide over a raised end piece and under some side tabs, but not completely and so that's both a rather loose connection and apt to come free (it's happened already with full and empty trays when the case is moved). My idea of mounting a hard drive has always been to have it solid to the case.
A third alternative, which I've got set up for the moment, is mounting one HDD and the two SSDs in a 3.5 to 5.25" Icy Dock tray adapter and sliding that in the spare 5.25" slot. While that is solid and secure, my concern is heat buildup with three units, including the system drive, bundled so closely together and away from the air flow.
Thanks for any instructions or suggestions,
