Take a look at this fan connector...

This is from a laptop that I'm trying to frankenstein into a desktop PC. I've been trying to find adapters that would allow me to plug fans with standard size connectors into the tiny connection ports on the motherboard.

Not only can I not find adapters, I can't find any info on this size connecter anywhere. I was able to find this bit of info though...

It explains the connector's "pitch" is the distance between the header pins that the connector plugs into. The standard being 2.54mm and the smallest (in their example anyway) being 2.0mm.
However the pitch of the connectors I'm dealing with looks to be about 1.0mm.

I've tried googling things like "pc fan connector 1.0mm pitch" or variations of the like, even "super teeny tiny fan connector" and really haven't found any useful info. I'm to the point of considering splicing wires, but really I would just like to find an adapter.

Is anyone familiar with this size connector? Is there a specific term or name for them I should include in my googling?

Thanks guys... and thanks for the tip sizzling. The connectors on that product do look the same, I just can't really tell what size they are. I'm gonna take one of the laptop fans with a little connector and a fan with a normal connector around to some hobby stores and see if they got some wires/connectors to fit both that I can cut up & splice into an adapter. As long as I don't have to cut & splice the actual fans' wires, I'll be happy.
