These files might be harmful to your computer

Hi,

After searching the internet I can only find people having this problem in combination with internet.
I'm having this problem when I'm moving files on my computer. All on the same drive, no internet involved.

does somebody has a fix for this?

scan files with some type of antivirus software if nothing shows then press ok

What is the path of the files (an example like X:\pictures\testpic.jpg or \\this-pc\pictures\testpic.jpg) - also, what is the extension of the files you are moving?

Windows 8 uses a heuristic approach for detecting dangerous files. It has tons of false positives. If you are sure that the files are safe, then don't worry about it.

@ronintexas: both paths have the same result (D:\Pictures\testpic.jpg and pcname\Pictures\testpic.jpg)

@alvine and Fokissed: thank you for your reaction, but I know the files arent harmful. And I'm nog worried about it. it's just annoying becauseI get this notification moving/ copiing files regardless of the type..
