At any rate....

I really like the fast random access read of the Lite-On 40x burner....sure beats my Pioneer 16x DVD (40x CD).

i read somewhere of someone doing a firmware flash that changed their 32x liton into a 40x one...

wonder if it would be the same if one did the 40 to 48x

Personally I don't care about that cause I only burn at 16x but it is a cool idea anyway.
