Anybody live around the Buffalo/Toronto Area? It might be cool to get together and have a LAN.

Just because you're not paranoid, doesn't mean they're not watching you.

I looked you up on the WWW, and the results say you live on Princeton in Kenmore. I had an apartment on Englewood for about two years. My wife went to Ken-East.

A friend of mine, Del, lives on Nassau. We are having one sometime in October.

Awright!!! That is right around the corner from me. You commute from Ohio to go to work? That is amazing. I would love to get together with other forum members to play games. What games do you usually play?

Depending on where you hold the party, and if it were in Toronto/Buffalo area, I am pretty sure I would attend if there are enough readers going.

I contacted del through his website...Its a nice site, he must have spent some time on it. I epscially like the op ed piece on transformers the movie.

I live in Akron NY that is... I used to live on Englewood across from Pickford Apartments.

Anyway... I let him know also about the potential for a THG connection to the LP. (LAN Party) He hasn't called me back yet... Oh well.

Del is the webmaster/network specialist over at RCI. (Roswell Cancer Institute) Last time we only had about 6-8 people show up. However we could help to publicize it and get more if need be. We set up in his basement last time, but if we need a larger venue that can be arranged. I could call up Jay over at Fragnation to see when their next on is and do something joint. However I would much rather have a smaller one. I think they are a lot more fun. However I do like winning prizes at larger ones.

What do you think?

I think smaller is better...that way, if someone gets obnoxious, there are less witnesses to see where you hid the body. :) Seriously, I think that 8-10 would be the best number. Although I've never been to a large LAN...it might be fun.

I've got some friends who just moved to some apartments on Englewood. Just let me know when the party is and I'm there... GO BILLS!!!

The decision is made... We will have to go to the Fragnation Party on Nov. 2nd. Say that you came with Darren and Jon you will get a discount and so will I.

Dstell,

This will relieve the pressure of making next Monday. We will have to reschedule the small one. One guy went out of town, one is unable to go, and planning this short term is hard.

The weather might become a factor... "Blizzard LAN 2002"

We will just have to see.

There will be another time... Maybe in December. A lot of vacation time there. Well less the time I need for the baby next month. Due Nov. 9th. That is cutting the fragnation party a little close. I might not be able to go. I will keep you all updated.
