Yeah!

Thanks to a stellar effort from numerous people from <A HREF="http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=40051" target="_new">Tom's Hardware Community</A> our <A HREF="http://folding.stanford.edu" target="_new">Folding@Home</A> <A HREF="http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=40051" target="_new">team (40051)</A> has hit 1,000,000 points! and completed >7,000 work units. This awesome acheivement places us 182nd in the all time top league of folding@home teams.

It has taken us 6 months to get there though. But our daily combined output is higher than it's ever been, 2,000,000 won't be far away, but we still need to get more. Our team is currently 50 active members, although 92 people have contributed towards the project. Well done everyone!

We need new people to join up, old people to come back and start folding again and existing members to find new machines to fold. Join team 40051 and start folding today!

Cheers to everyone for passing the million point mark!

Hey Ned, I think that lost WU may have cost you the lead in our little competition for 50th place.

Currently I am folding with:
Athlon XP1800+ (home machine)
P4 2GHz (work machine)

I'll soon be upgrading the home rig to an Athlon 64 3400+, and adding an AMD box from work, so try to keep up!

Don't I just know it! :frown:

Although - I'm now folding with my A64, my Dad's Sempron 2500+, and my Bros Sempron 2100+ o/c @ 2800+.

So...maybe I'm not out just yet

Go "sjonnie" !!!!

And thanks everyone for your contribution. It's been a good day. Thought a bit about what we've done and hopefully it adds to the betterment of mankind. I'd like to think so anyway.

Folding with three of my comps. Chugging along. If only I could get some of the machines where I work Folding. LOL, our technology department is littered with comps. Each comp, a P4 2.4 Ghz, and we got about 300 of them just sitting idle. ughhh.
