Am trying out the demo and I'm hoping the full game is not this buggy.
Quicksave appears to do the saves, but when you go to load after exiting,
only one quicksave exists, on the training level. Running this on a Barton
3200, 1Gig Dual Channel RAM, Radeon 8500 with Catlyst 4.4's and it's a slug
at 1024x768. Is the full game this sluggish? Hell, my system does Far Cry at
high res and ditto for UT 2004, but this one makes me feel like I've got my
TNT2 back.

I've got the full game and QuickSave works as expected. And turn off
VSync and Bloom for a performance boost.

In the full game you have only one quicksave slot. This is normal,
because if you quickload, how else would the game know which slot to use?
You are not limited to a set number of regular saves, except by disk
space.

Yes, I realize this. But in the demo when you hit F10, you get the screen
confirmation that the game has been saved. But the save is not there. Quit
the game, restart, and the only save of any kind is the quicksave I made
days ago on the training level. No matter what I do it does not change.
Also, I can't save normally at all. And this looks like a bug too. Demo does
not say save function is disabled. I'm as big a fan as anyone of the Thief
series, but when you release a demo the whole point is to entice buyers, not
drive them off by shitty code and numerous bugs.

I can confirm, at least on my copy of the game, that this bug does not
appear. Quicksave works as it should do. No problem with regular
saves/loads either.

No, quicksave does NOT as it should. On my system it corrupts the sound.
That really needs to be fixed in the next patch.

I haven't seen this on my system (SB Live!).
