Thieves Guild / Enchanting Problems - Any ideas

Hi, anyone able to help ?

My partner and I, are both playing Morrowind, with Tribunal and Bloodmoon
expansions and the last patch available.

The two problems I have encountered have to do with the Thieves guild and
Enchanting.

Thieves Guild: I not sure if it has to do with the Dark Brotherhood Outfit
or not, but once you have put it on, you are unable to join the Thieves
Guild in Balmora, I got round this by not equipping this armor, ( it's good
stuff for a thief at an early stage ) and going directly to Balmora via the
Silt Rider and joing the three main guilds ( Fighters, Mage and Thieves ),
then equipping the outfit afterwards. Has anyone else had this problem, I
not sure if it is to with the Dark Brotherhood outfit or not, any ideas.

Enchanting: I don't have this problem, but my partner does. When enchanting
an item using an enchanter, everything shows up in the enchant window,
except the magic scrolls she is carrying, we've tried all sorts of things,
but we are unable to get the spells to show up. I don't have this problem in
mine, and her game is loaded exactly like mine, ( exact same mods, n.b: The
mods we have loaded, to do not as far as I can see conflict. ). Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

No idea about this one, as I do not have Tribunal.

You cannot enchant items with spell scrolls - you must learn the spell
first. It doesn't matter if you have the mana or skill to actually cast it
or not... just having it in the spell list will do.

How do ya learn spells, do ya drop a blank piece of paper dropped onto your
person, I have no idea

You talk to people. Some of them have "Spells" at the top of the
conversation topics, you can buy spells from them. Most of these are
members of the Mage Guild, Temple or Imperial Cult, but the first one
you will encounter is the Altmer trader in Seyda Neen, Arrille.

The brotherhood and the thieves guild do not exactly sympatize, so it is
probably because the armor marks you as a 'dark brother', the same
way that wearing some parts of indoril armor, marks you as *illegally*
trying to appear as an ordinator

scrolls are one-time-use spells, and can be used by all, even if they
have no magic skills. The only spells that works for enchanting purposes
are the regular ones, that appears below the bartering option, and have
no scroll-icon attached.
