Thin Vertical Line on Monitor

About 5 hours ago I developed a vertical line that goes from the top to the bottom of my screen, it's maybe 2 pixels wide and I've determined it's not dead pixels. Best way of describing it is a 'transparent' blurred line, because it still shows what's meant to be on the screen, but shows it slightly brighter and more blurred, so sometimes parts of it blend in with the background, sometimes it makes the background darker or brighter in places.

I can't see it at all on white, whereas with black it shows most. I've looked around and it seems most people have dead or stuck pixels, but this seems like neither, so I haven't been able to find a fix apart from re-installing drivers (which I've done) and sending it back for repairs. Is there anything else I can do before I send it off?

I haven't dropped or damaged the laptop in any way, it just seems to have appeared, it's also brand new so it's not because of extensive use or age.
