Things to do after Build is complete (bios setup ETC)

Hello everyone I'm building this computer. Ive already got all the components picked out. My question is as far as updating bios and my equipment. Ive heard that the software that comes with it is no good. Whats the process of updating bios. Ive heard if you don't do it right you can make a boo boo.

Anyways if anyone can make me a list of procedures to take and follow id GREATLY appreciate it thanks wise men

I'd never update a BIOS without a very good reason . If you dont have to then dont do it

ok ty so pretty much install all the drivers etc that comes with the hardware. Im getting a legit copy of windows. Shouldnt windows update help a brotha out? lol
