So I was using MSI afterburner and I was trying to overclock my graphics card which is a Evga GeForce GTX 950 and I turned the core clock up to +250 bit by bit and the core voltage to like +100 whilst using benchmark Valley, then I started to notice artifacts when I was overclocking and then Valley crashed on me. This scared me so I thought I will just reset the settings on MSI afterburner and when I went to do this my PC shut off to a black screen, so I restarted it and it came back on as normal. I went on to MSI Afterburner again and reset the settings back to default and uninstalled it.

A few days later I realised I was getting major fps drops in every game I played, for example I would have around 250fps on CSGO and it would drop to about 6 fps for like 5 seconds every minute or so, this got me mad so I thought I would reinstalled MSI Afterburner and Valley again. I clocked it to +150 core clock, messed with the core voltage to stabilise it and also turned up the memory clock to about +100. As soon as did that I got a driver error notification on Windows 10 and everything froze then went to a black screen... I turned my PC on to find the automatic repair load up and every time it goes to run diagnostics I get a black screen with only my cursor showing on a low resolution.

Note: When I boot my PC up the GPU fan runs for about 15 seconds and then stops. It seems like it has stopped working.

- I've put the GPU into another system. No luck, it just use's integrated graphics.

So you overclocked it, cranked the voltage up, and had problems. Then, to fix the problems, you overclocked it some more and cranked up the voltage again?

If the card won't work in someone else's non screwed up system it sounds like you just have to chalk this loss up to the costs of doing overclocking experiments. Sometimes the patient dies.
