In the coming time, I have time to decide on what components I want.
I have this of stuff I think which is good:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LVRY23

How does that look? I am coming from a Xbox One, and I've always told myself I would want to come to PC when I can basically do 1080p gaming at 60fps at a affordable price, atleast with Ultra settings or maybe high.

I don't really know what to do with the CPU, I've gotten told to look at others.
GPU, well, I think the GTX 770 4GB would help, but I don't know how much though. It was only around 30 more dollars (I believe) than a 760. I don't know really whats better, or the difference.

I don't know really anything, and even overclocking, will I do that? Could I? I want to make sure my machine would be not a burning furnace and I don't know if it would be (had laptops my whole life).

I spent 600 on my Xbox at launch, so 700 isn't too bad, I don't want to push it though. I'm on a budget.

Could I have some help with this sort of stuff? Thanks.

Or if you don't mind $700 after rebates this will give you much better performance in BF4 multiplayer and other processor intensive games

And if you live near a micro center you can get this CPU which is even better and cheaper.

What do you think would be the best CPU to fit either of those? The 970's over at EVGA are in about a $40 dollar range of eachother. I forgot they 970 was out all together. Affordable, perhaps. I might go up to 800 or 900. It depends how much I have by that time with working and excess money.

That bottom one looks pretty nice, is the ASUS R9 280x 3GB a good card? I would start getting into ArmA III and other things, like Star Citizen.
I've just seen many people playing ArmA and stuff on GTX cards, which makes me believe it would perform better.

So would I be able to play Arma with that build? This is a hard decision. :(

You are going to want to pair a 970 with an i5 (or an 97, but an i7 is out of your budget).

Yes you'd be able to play Arma fine with that build, it's just a poorly optimised game. With a $600-700 budget, you're not going to get an i5 and 970 without unbalancing the build. The intel build will play all current games on high and many of them maxed out.

I've been looking around and doing some searching, found this:

How does that look? I know it's about $100 dollars over budget, but prices could change maybe in the next month. :) Thank you for your help.

It's an alright build, but there a probably some thing I'd change if it were for me, but I prefer standard size ATX boards and i'd lean towards a H97.
The CX series PSU's aren't very good, for cheap PSU's you'll want an XFX, SeaSonic, Antec HCG or Neo Eco, Rosewill Capstone or EVGA B2 700w, whichever you can get cheapest.
As you said prices will change over the next month (the deal on the Neo Eco has ended) you're best to come back an ask closer to the date as there might be different sales on, otherwise i'd just keep an eye out for good deals if you have some money to spend already, for example i'd be going to get the processor from micro mart now if you can as it's a good price, there are also rebates on the 620w Antec HCG and 650w XFX at the moment that are worth considering too.
