Alright so I have a Coolermaster HAF 932 and I've been seeing all these paint jobs that people do to them and they look amazing. I'm thinking about painting the outside of my case but when it comes to painting cases I'm a complete retard. What would the necessary steps be to start painting, what spray paint would I need to use. would I need to sand the outside of the case first? Stuff like this would be helpful to know. I know I have to take the whole case apart and all that but I'm really interested in doing it now. Any help would be appreciated.

1. To paint the inside of the case you need sandpaper to roughen up the surface so the paint sticks.
2. Making sure to keep the can 6”-8” away use 3 coats of SEM brand self etching primer (color grey or white) letting it dry between coats.
3. Before painting, submerge can in hot tap water for at least 10 min. Repeat step 2 using plasti-kote super enamel (part# T-2 or T-8) for finish color coat.
4. Repeat step 2 using a clear coat after finish color is dry.

Between every coat of primer, color and clear coat, run a tack cloth over the paint to pick up any over spray and dust you could get.

Remember that you need a drill to take off the rivets and a rivet gun to put the case back together.

I really hope this helps. I really wanted to paint my Coolermaster Cosmos once so I did a lot of research but I ended just taking it to a powder coat company.
