Thinking about selling pc and rebuild with new components. Price check?

I can probably build a top of line with latest parts for ~1200usd so I'm thinking about selling my old system. I'm thinking around 900... what do you guys think?

Your X79 rig? I would not sell it, it is still very powerful.
Just grab a newer and more powerful GPU and your rig is back to business.

Oh I don't know, I want new things, want a new look, new feel, maybe I'll find a good deal from someone else for parts. Was just curious how much my system is worth currently.

thats still a sick build. i believe the 690 is equivalent to a 970. Maybe get a new gpu. if u want a new feel, get a newer case? it would be a total waste to sell that pc now. whoever buys it for 800-900 would most certainly be happy.

Get a larger SSD so you can run programs off it. Nothing else that really needs changing unless you have games that are running slow on it. Maybe get a new monitor instead, and a BluRay drive for HD movies. Just spending money for not much benefit otherwise. Buy some computers for a local school if you feel like spending a $1,000 on something.
