Thinking of a solution to combat gpu sag - will K'nex pieces work?

I am going to get a pretty heavy 980ti soon and thinking of ways to combat gpu sag. Then I remembered that I had a k'nex 400 piece value tub as a gift from my US based relative a few years ago. I've seen people using legos to stop sagging. Will a k'nex structure be just as good? Also what's the melting point of k'nex pieces? I heard lego's is 105°C, so it won't melt before gpu do, but what about k'nex?

If you are getting a 980 ti, im assuming you can afford a gpu brace
This will look a lot better than k'nex 😀
Assuming your case has the screw spot in the inside like this
