[SOLVED] thinking of buying 3080rtx but does my PSU support it ?

A CX750W will do... but I would say that if you if you have the cash for a RTX 3080, then you should have money for a new, better and modern PSU.

Are you sure that I will be able to install the video card? I saw in the video card specification that it requires 3 x 8 pin, but my PSU isn't modular and it has 2 6 pins + 2 x2, won't I need to buy Molex or something like that for the card to work?

Also, what PSU would you recommend getting?

Which RTX 3080 are you getting?
If you check Nvidia specs. it states 2x PCIe 8-pin
I wouldn't use a Molex connector on a GPU of that caliber.

Also, what PSU would you recommend getting?

i9-9900k with MSI RTX 3080 Gaming Trio which uses three 8-pin PCIe connectors. You should be looking at a higher quality 850 watt unit. It's up to you but I wouldn't use the CX. It's a budget model.

Which RTX 3080 are you getting?
If you check Nvidia specs. it states 2x PCIe 8-pin
I would use a Molex connector on a GPU of that caliber.

The cx750 has 4 x 6+2 pin pci express cables so it will support that gpu.

Although I agree that it's at the lower end quality wise of what should be used with a 3080 it it will do the job (it is actually a modern platform and decent quality for a bronze rated unit) .
