Thinking of buying a first gaming computer! need help!

Your biggest flaw is your PSU. The CX series for Corsair is faulty. Buy this one instead: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=27992

Only 10 dollars more, but infinitely better. I also think your GPU is weak. If I were you, I would buy the SuperNova PSU and then a better GPU. I'm not that familiar with Raedon, but I would buy something like a 960 or 970 equivalent.

Other than that, it looks good.

You've been given lots of good advise here, personally overall it looks a good list of parts. The Corsair CX power supplies are well made and good quality so i wouldn't worry about that. As for the graphics i would agree with "plywrlw", the R9 280 (or if you can afford it the 280x) is far better than the gtx960. Go look at benchmarks on youtube and you will see that the 280x easily beats the 960.

Again, I'm not sure about the PSU and if I bought a 144Hz monitor would it work with my build or would I just be better of with a 60Hz monitor instead?

I play a lot of games such as; League of Legends, DotA 2, Battlefield 4, CS GO, WoW, and any modern game released :)

A lot of the games you play run better on a cpu with strong single threaded performance so definitely an Intel chip if you're not overclocking the cpu. I'll have a look at your build above but it might take a while to click on all those links on my phone!

yeah im on it right now
and its so much cheaper here omg

Here is my final thought; http://au.pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

I just need help with RAM, CPU Cooler, PSU and what monitor to buy 144Hz or 60Hz for this build?!
