Seasonic Focus+ 550 is one of the latest PSU lines from Seasonic. PSU has...

PSU is by seasonic which is basically synonymous with quality. Ram can be a tad trickier to pick as it will depend on how much you want and at what speed-I linked a 2x8gb ram kit @3000mhz

for 1000 bucks, this is what i would get :

Seasonic Focus+ 550 is one of the latest PSU lines from Seasonic. PSU has 80+ Gold certification, is 140mm in depth and comes with 10 years of OEM warranty. PSU is also fully modular.

All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic. Full specs with pics in my sig.

Oh, all fully-modular Seasonic PSUs are also compatible with CableMod SE-series custom sleeved power cables.
To match my Skylake's black & red theme and Haswell's black & blue theme, i have replaced the stock black power cables with CableMod SE-series custom sleeved power cables,
