Thinking of keeping win8, but i do not have a cd, for my new SSD, what can i do?

I have windows 8 installed on a traditional HDD, but I'm buying a SSD. they have not given me any cd for win8, can I do anything about that?

I don't have a cd burner.

Hi there Twilitex,

You can clone your HDD onto the SSD. This would create exactly the same copy of your OS and place it onto the SSD.
Most of the SSD/HDD manufacturers have their own cloning tools. Some third party ones should do the job as well.

Once you complete the cloning process, you can switch the places of both drives and reformat the HDD. Once you've done that, you can use it either internally or externally.
