Question thinking of upgrading 9 year old pre built pc with a 750ti. would it be safe? do i need to buy a new power supply?

thinking of adding a cheap 750 or 750 ti to a lenovo e73 sff pre built. Will the 240w power supply be able to handle it?

nether of them use a external PCI-e power plug, so yes its fine. The card will pull power from the PCI-e slot and the slot is limited to 75W.

Do you have the micro tower or the small form factor? Finding a low profile 750 or 750ti might be a challenge.

I would be a little worried about the PSU age at this point, but given the CPU max is about 84W and the GPU should be under 75W, it is marginal. Don't plug your phone into to it to charge at the same time you game.
