[SOLVED] Thinkpad t430s ram not detecting or working

i have a laptop t430s. i am currently using 6gb of ram but when i put 8 it does not work even though both 4gb are same speed if i am right. One works but one don't even though the other one work's in my other dell laptop is there something i am missing please help

Try updating the BIOS of the laptop with the working RAM
After this, try again with the Strontium RAM

At which speed is the Dell running the RAM? Upload the memory tab of CPU-Z as well (imgur is fine, this site doesn´t provide uploading files)

about bios i will see lenovo website for my laptop or is there any other way to update bios

If each module will only work on its own, there's just a conflict from two different designs--nothing you can really do about that. If the Dell module won't work in your laptop even on its own, that's just incompatibility.

Thank you for replying and both module dell and lenovo one works perfectly in dell laptop so i don't think they are incompatible.

Okay after some hard work bios is up to date but still nothing when i put dell module in laptop boots but nothing is displayed

the RAM might be incompatible to the 430s

I would get two PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 modules on the second hand market
or the exact same model which is currently working in it:
m471b5273ch0-ch9

Incompatibility isn't the same between systems--modules that play well together on one system might not work on another, and that is normal incompatibility.
