Third connection on WD Hardrive?

I got the WD blue 1 TB WD10EZEX hardrive now i see that the drive got third connection that looks like 8 pin connection what i suppose to do with that connection?

I got a seagate drive before and it got only 2 connections i mean sata express and power.

something like this? putting it in master mode cannot hurt if it is your only drive.

I got another SSD Hyper x 120 GB so do i really need to connect something to it?

is it an IDE or sata drive?

Yeah this Drive is SATA i have checked

hmm. It should just run fine with no jumpers they are both sata, so you should be able to control boot orders in the BIOS.

One more question i got: i with my new SSd (Hyper X 120 GB ) a plastic bracket but bracket not slot as many people think what should i do with that plastic thingy?

I am sorry I do not quite get that. you are asking about the plastic mounting hardware?

hmm it would appear to be a sort of spacer to allow it to fit in some mounting bays. see if you need it, your case might have mounting methods that do not use it.
