Okay so I managed to get a third screen and I wanted to hook it up. At first I was having an issue with the fact that my last port on my graphics card (XFX AMD Radeon R7 250) is a DVI-D and the screen is a VGA. Obviously my problem was digital to analog. Well after some research I found out that I could use my onboard graphics on my motherboard (F1A55-M LE R2.0) and enable the igpu multi monitor feature. After discovering that, my third screen worked perfectly fine....for two days. First of all, when the driver updated, it says that the onboard is an AMD HD 6550D, which I thought was odd considering that's usually a PCI card. But I figured, "whatever" and moved on.
Well here's my problem: First off, at one point all three of my screens flickered and flashed, and all of a sudden my third screen went to 800x600 res. When going to change it, the screen was no longer listed as a Dell [model name here], it's now listed as a "Generic Non-PnP Monitor". Then sometime today, after turning my computer back on, it still shows up in my settings as the generic monitor, but the screen is staying in standby mode. Hell my icons and gadgets are still up there.
So......any ideas?
EDIT: I did uninstall and reinstalled all my drivers. Well the display ones. I tried getting the exact display driver for the motherboard, but every time I try to use it, an "unexpected error occurred."
Technical Specifications:
Windows 7 Ultimate
AMD A8-3870 APU with Radeon HD, 3.0GHz Quad-core
ASUS F1A55-M LE R2.0 Motherboard
AMD Radeon R7 250 PCI card
AMD HD 6550D Onboard
