I posted something few weeks ago but now have more definitive results. I have ivy i5 OC at 4.4 water cooled. Idle temps at 27 degrees then load temp (I did not do bench mark but running bf3 and number of other programs at same time) highest I have ever gotten it was just under 40 degrees. Is that a good temperature? With 120mm

Solution
Exactly ... Cpu voltage of 1.2 wow .... i can only get to 4.3GHz with that voltage (which i am currently now) and i have 70c

Anyway, thanks for sharing and keep it like that, it's just incredible

1- What is exactly your processor

2- What kind of water cooling are you using (Closed loop or custom made)

3- Download Prime95 and run torture at the lowest and tell me what temps you get after 10mins

If you are using a Sandy Bridge i5, under 40 is pretty fu*king good and if you are using Ivy Bridge, you are my new god.

Yeah whats with the cell phone. My note 2 shits on that anyways but anyways I would post pic if everything if I could but i7 should run hotter but thats big difference. I just got home so give me a little but I got maingear f131 and they oc it for me. Just getting into building ocs my buddies twaching me now but they oc it and built it and all that. Its a corsair cooler even though they said its theirs they only make their own huge 180mm coolers I have 120mm. Ill post what the stress tells me but I can post my voltages and everything if u want

Ok just ran it on blend for 10 minuets CPU was at 100% and it held 45 degrees C and minuet later after I closed program it now idling at 29 degrees and I had my mobo program opened, msi after burner, and internet explorer all running while test was going.

Very nice temps. You got an awesome oc right there. Not even in the 50c margin wow. My i7 has 4 cores two so it shouldn't run much hotter than yours.

Yup.

Could you give me your coreV in the bios ? Also, you said someone did it for you right ? Do you know how he did it ? Some guide or ?

Someone did it but ordered from maingear there a small custom pc gaming company and im sure you build your own pc like most people on here but there amazing got to meet everyone since I pic7ked up my pc but anyways ill post it in a little just got back from work when I posted my test score then out again now be home later. And how do I check it in the bios? I have a asus rog so program it came with tells me everything about my pc so ill check there first.
