Hello, I've never bought a self made computer and don't want to screw it up. Is this a good build? or should I cut on some thing? I want a computer for gaming and that doesn't take 6 minutes to booth up :), I also play on 2 32 inch tvs sometimes in 1080p, 1920x1080

Cpu:Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($294.99 @ Newegg) will probably go for 4770k
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Moterboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($189.99 @ Newegg)
Hard drive 1: Samsung 840 evo series 120g 2.5 ssd
Hard drive 2: Seagate 1T 6gb/s Sata 3.5 st 1000DM003
Blue ray
Windows 8.1
Box: Thermal take v3
power supply: Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($109.98 @ Amazon)
Ram: Kingston 2x4g ddr3-1600 (8g total)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 Superclocked w/ EVGA ACX Cooler or ASUS GeForce® GTX 760 DirectCU II will decide later
Thank you for any advice offered in reducing cost without sacrificing to much gaming quality

I've have a friend using windows 8, and I just don't like it and he's had troubles a few times with, I like windows 7 has more reliable, or I'm I getting the wrong impression from him? plus isn't it made for a more touch screen approach?

8.1 is faster and has better support for things like directX. Also any issues with games were patched long ago. I understand you don't like th UI but the 8.1 update makes it much easier to feel like an older os. Also we do need to know if that psu is name brand 80+ rated. Finally if it's in your budget an upgrade to a 770 would be nice but 760 is the ideal price per performance wise

I'd suggest throwing an extra few buck to the 4770K, especially with the Hero mobo, and you don't specify brand but look to the Asus 760 in the CU cooling design, great card - and if you do kick up to the K model CPU a cooler like the Hyper 212 EVO ($35)

ok, so intel I7-4770k instead with a hyper 212 evo I'll look into it thank you.
For the 760, there seems to be a lot of different 760s, isn't the base model any good? or is there a specific model that I should use? Geforce gtx 760 was the one I was intending to get

Yeah that would great for you, I'm personally a fan of MSI gpus but evga is good too. Really they are all about the same with essentially unnoticeable differences once you get a overclocked/cooled card so getting the cheapest is would be a fine idea too
