i3 3225 or i5 3570(k)?

Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3P Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard - £60
PNY XLR8 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory - £40
Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk - £60
Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower Case - £35
Corsair CX 430W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply - £40

I don't intend on gaming now but I will in the future, i'll probably get a GTX 760
of course if i start gaming i'll have to add additional storage but ignore that for now :)
Also can anyone tell me the advantages of having a quad core over a dual core in everyday usage?(no gaming)? I'll usually be programming, watching HD movies, surfing the internet, email, maybe some small editing in aftereffects and photoshop.
Price is my main concern
Thanks

Since you seem to be tough about budget then I'd get a i5-4670 or another non overclockable i5.

However, you should get a bigger PSU. For a 760 you should have at least 500W, but I'd suggest getting a CX600 and you'll never have to worry about not having enough power.

The K version of the 3570 is only £10 cheaper so should i get that one? What will i actually achieve from overclocking?
Also I used PCpartpicker.com and the overall wattage of the build above with the i5 and an MSI gtx 760 came to 320 watts?
why would i need a 600w power supply?
thanks

I'd suggest a i5 over a i3 as long as it isn't for office work. I mean literally in a office. For everything else quad core is so much better.

If you want to overclock it'll cost your system at least £40-50 more. Cuz you need a special cooler, a more expensive Zxx mobo, and a k cpu.

For your use I do not recommend it. You won't benefit from it. Stick with a locked i5 and 760.
