Hmm. Don't think I will be trading in my 9700p anytime soon!
Must be a real pain to watercool or mod. Looks ugly to me. And probably costs a fair bit to use the extra material just to create a fancy cover.

Seriously though, I like components with nice discreet packaging. It shows attention to detail for one thing. Also, there are no bare capactitors or traces to get caught on things during installation or transport. I also like the way it looks. I think it looks much better than a bare pcb...anyway, nice purchase.

Yeah really, how much Gen? I can't believe you got a 5700! 9600 Pro, 9800 non-pro!?!? Comon. Have fun with HL2 Gen.

BTW i thought that page was funny as hell.

"Anti-Overheated Cooling System (More than 100% heat dissipation)
- Designed to prevent air being blocked by other PCI card
- High quality aluminum cover with quick heat dissipation
- Ventilation holes for quick cold and hot airflow "

LOL!

And theres more where that came from.

SIGNATURE: Stop asking people "whats up" or "hows it goin", you know you don't give a sh*t. And noone cares how you're doing either.

OMG!!! THat WAS a funny page. Gen, their engineers may be good, but their Marketing department is on crack. My favorite line:
The Super Cooling System with Blue Icy Crystal Displayer. This next generation cooling fan is based on the combination of LCD and LED in terms of providing the game enthusiasts the best technology of protecting and detecting their VGA card and PC system.

I want my own Blue Icy Crystal Displayer!!!

It's all Bush's fault...all of it...

WS, he didn't say he got it. He says he HAS a prolink card (the GF4 used to replace the R9500P I assume), but look at this....

It's just his intro.

I doubt GW would buy a card like that because like SpeedUK says it looks like a pain to mod.

Nice looking card. But as I don't have/need a window on my case, it's just a lost feature for me.

But it is a schweeet looking card, and an interesting concept. If it had leads to a floppy slot mountable VF disp. then THAT I could really use.

Still, the next purchase will likely be for the longer term, so it would need to come on a PCI-EX card for it to make me drool!
