i have msg like "This copy of windows is not genuine" ,so plz tell me is that my os is copy write some one,becoz it will install by other person

W7 will show that message if it is pirated as scout and jsc said above.

It will also show that message if it has not yet been activated. Have you tried to activate it? You could try doing so by the internet or by telephone.

Does it now? I didn't know that. I am a relatively recent convert to Win7 (from XP) and I activate immediately upon installation.

I thought it just nagged you: "25 days to activate, 24 ...", and so on.

If you fail to activate it with the given timeframe, it will change to a black desktop with the message that it is not a genuine copy.

Yea, if you don't activate it, for some reason it says its "pirated"

Even thou it isn't... yea, it's dumb. I think microsoft is just lazy and didn't want to make a separate one that said "You forgot to activate, dur..."

Seriously though, if you are getting the pirated copy message after you have activated Windows or if it refuses to activate, you can call Microsoft using the number that is offered for calling to activate. If you are in fact the only user of that windows copy simply tell the operator that you are the only user. If its a pirated copy you are on your own and should in fact go out and get a legal copy of windows. We all had too. Lol
